Eph 2:1-10. In our lost, fallen condition is we could have been described as walking dead men. We blindly followed this demonically governed world system with no spiritual life or connection to God. But God who was rich in mercy, made us alive together with Christ, saving us by grace through faith without works.

1 Samuel 28:1-25. When Saul seeks the Lord, but gets no answer, he resorts to seeking out a medium for guidance. Samuel’s spirit comes forth to foretell Saul’s tragic end in battle. Saul’s downfall and pitiful end is a sober warning for us all to keep our hearts tender before God each day.
