Zech 12:9-10. The scriptures, the prophecies and all of human history is moving toward the fulfilment of these appointed end times events. The Day of Atonement specifically foreshadows a time at the end of the age when Israel will turn in repentance and recognise Jesus as her Messiah, ushering in the Kingdom under Christ 

Luke 22:54-62. After being broken through personal failure and then graciously restored by grace, Peter is able to strengthen the brethren, stir up the saints and feed the sheep. God never condones failure, but He certainly uses it in our lives to grow and mature. 

Luke 3:1-23. After 400 years without any prophetic voice, God finally speaks through John the Baptist. And what is his first word to men? “repent”! Ah, forgiveness awaits, but repentance is the key step.
